A Click for Click, Awards and a Noble Cause

Last week, when I made orange basundi, I cut the orange peel with a flower shaped cookie cutter and used it to decorate the dessert bowl.  Later, I dried them in the window, where there was lot of sun light.  Next day I took this picture.  I am sending this orange peel and orange peel flowers or tartlets to Click, the food photography event, hosted by Jugalbandi.

Noble Cause

Fellow blogger Srivalli is on a noble mission to raise funds for Lakshmi, who is suffering from a Heart Disease. Lakshmi needs a surgery immediately and is helpless financially. She is a 28 year old mother of 2 children and her younger one is only 3 years old. In today’s post, Srivalli mentioned that Lakshmi was rushed to the hospital this past weekend, as she had sever pain in her heart. Doctors again confirmed the need for an immediate surgery. Please visit Srivali’s blog to learn more about Lakshmi’s condition and an update on her current condition.

This fundraiser will be on till September 15, 2008. Please do whatever you can to help Lakshmi and spread the word to fellow bloggers by adding the Chipin Meter on the left panel of Srivalli’s blog, to yours. I wanted to add it to mine as well.
